Every morning at sunrise, hundreds of hot air balloons lift off here, illuminating the unique landscape of the “fairy chimneys” in a stunning palette of colors. We never thought we’d actually step into one of those balloons ourselves; the price tags we found during our online research were enough to put us off. However, once we arrived, we had the chance to book a last-minute balloon ride for a good price (€120 per person), an opportunity we eagerly seized with both hands!
