This charming fishing port sits right beside towering rock formations, perfect for climbing if you’re up for a little adventure. Even without the hike, Fjällbacka is a joy to explore. Its colorful streets are lined with cozy little shops and restaurants.
At Badplats Badholmen, the atmosphere is wonderfully lively and at the same time very relaxed—children leap from springboards into the water, families spread out on the grass, and sunbathers soaking up the breeze. There's even a small bar where you can get some refreshing drinks and snacks.
For lunch, we headed to Fjällbacka Fiskaffär, a bustling local restaurant next to the water serving delicious fresh seafood. Their shop next door even lets you take a taste of Fjällbacka home with you.
