Stroll around Vieux-Lille
Start off by strolling around the historical streets of the old city centre. Filled with shops and small boutiques, this is the perfect morning activity. And whenever you need a break, a terrace for coffee is always nearby. ☕️
Lunch at Papa Posto
For some reason there are many Italian restaurants in Lille. So have to try that out! Head to Papa Posto for a menu based on burrata’s and typical Italian sandwiches. Delicious!
Boat tour near the Citadelle
Lille is also surprisingly green. Take that all in during a boat tour with Marin d’Eau Douce, which you don’t need a license for! The tour does also take you to a more industrial part of the city however, but it’s still nice to be on the water. Liked the fact that you can buy a picknick basket filled with drinks and/or snacks.
Dinner at La Belezza
Probably the trendiest restaurant in town: La Belezza. An Italian gem with an outspoken interior and the perfect location for a cozy night and tasty pasta or pizza.
