Kayaking with seals

Begin your day early with an unforgettable kayaking trip at Pelican Point Peninsula, home to around 50,000 seals. As you paddle through these waters, the playful seals may swim alongside you! Before reaching the kayaks, you’ll pass through Walvis Bay's wetlands, where pelicans and flamingos often gather, and one of the largest salt mines in the world. The adventure started on the Walvis Bay boulevard, where a 4x4 will transported us to the kayaks.

Sleeping under Namibia's "Matterhorn"

I've been looking forward to this location, and after finding the perfect camping spot (yes, it’s a campsite – but a super spacious one), it was time for a beautiful sunset between the surrounding rocks. After a 2-hour drive from Swakopmund, you arrive at Spitzkoppe, where the granite peaks rise up to 1,728 meters. These ancient formations are perfect for hiking and climbing. The views are breathtaking, and the sunset creates a glowing red light over the mountains – a perfect way to end the day as you set up camp.

The Milky Way!

Most remote campsite until now. We enjoyed a simple meal before watching the stars (there's almost no light pollution!)
