Go for breakfast

One of my go-to breakfast places is 'RAC'. It's got this super French vibe going on, and let me tell you, their coffee is top-notch! Not only do I adore the restaurant, but I'm also smitten with the neighborhood it's nestled in. It's incredibly cozy, and if you're keen on European architecture, you're in for a treat! Just hop off at Jiao Tong University metro station, and you'll stumble upon the charming Wukang Building. Keep strolling along Wukang Road, and you'll soon find yourself at 'RAC', soaking in the delightful vibe of this neighborhood.

The black markets

You've got plenty of options when it comes to bargain hunting in Shanghai! If you're after knockoff goods, head straight to 'AP PLAZA.' Just hop on the metro to 'Shanghai Science and Technology Museum,' and you'll find yourself in an underground market paradise. Remember to haggle for the best deals and keep an eye out for quality. From sunglasses to sneakers, makeup, bags, suitcases, and souvenirs, you'll find it all here. Now, if clothes are more your thing, head straight for the Qipu Lu clothing market. With four colossal buildings and six floors bursting with wallet-friendly outfits, it's a fashionista's dream come true. You'll come across both low and high-quality items at this market, but it's ultimately your choice, so don't forget to haggle. (;

Jing'An temple

Ah, the Jade Buddha Temple – also known as the little oasis in the midst of the bustling city! This gem is famous for its pair of breathtaking jade Buddha statues, brought all the way from Burma back in the late 19th century. It's a slice of serenity amidst the urban chaos, with skyscrapers towering over it all, creating a truly mesmerizing contrast.

Dinner time

If you're in the mood for a unique blend of Chinese-Italian cuisine, Yaya's is the place to be. It's hands down one of my top picks in the city! Make sure to make reservations in advance.

Cocktail time

If you're still up for it, head over to 'La Mezcaleria'. It's a fantastic cocktail bar with authentic Mexican ambiance.
