Start your day at the stunning Meise Botanical Gardens

Just outside the city center of Brussels, you’ll find Meise Botanical Gardens. This gem is one of Europe's largest botanical gardens, showcasing a wide variety of plants. We absolutely loved our time here! You can leisurely wander through the park, marvel at the charming castle, and explore the beautiful Plant Palace. If that’s not enough, they also have a shop where you can buy all kinds of things: plants, pots, juice, candy,... With so much to see, it won’t surprise you that you can easily spend an entire morning here ;-). Tickets are € 11 per person, which is certainly not expensive for all you get in return!

Un rit de 10 minutes brengt je naar het meest iconische monument van België.

Place de l'Atomium 1, Brussels, Belgium

Admire the iconic Atomium

No trip to Brussels is complete without a visit to the iconic Atomium! This immense monument was designed and constructed for Expo 58, the world fair that was held in Brussels in 1958. The nine spheres not only symbolize an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times, but they also stand for the (at the time) 9 provinces that made up Belgium. It’s an impressive piece of architecture, even more so if you remember that it was built over 60 years ago! You can also visit the inside of the Atomium, where you can learn more about the city, play games, admire panoramic views,... More than just some spheres on a pole!

Dinner at the Asian fusion restaurant Old Boy

A delicious dinner at Old Boy is the perfect way to end your memorable first day in Brussels. This Asian fusion restaurant offers a fixed six-course dinner menu, with options for both meat lovers and those who prefer fish and vegetables. We can tell you: both menus are delicious! Every dish is so flavorful and has the most surprising combinations, we’re all for it! We can’t give you any recommendations on the food since it’s a fixed menu, but we suggest you take at least one of each menu to try all the dishes they offer. You won’t regret it!
