Visit Topkapi palace, blue mosk and Aya Sofia
In the morning, start with an early visit to the area of Istanbul where you can find the blue mosk (don't queue but walk a little further and go through the park at the righthand side and you get straight in the area of the mosk), the Aya Sofia (it is very busy from 04.00 AM so a good glimpse is maybe ok) and then to the Topkapi Palace. This palace is very stretched out but the park and the different palaces are very well kept, beautiful and interesting (this is your opportunity to learn everything about a harem you ever wanted to know ;-) . The viewpoints at the end of the park overlooking Istanbul are marvelous. You can do all 3 items by foot.

Typical turkish lunch at Sultan Mehmet Restaurant
Now it's time for a typical lunch with Kebab or Gozleme (pancake with vegetables and minces meat); the restaurant is in the touristic neighborhood but is top! Fresh ingredients, tasty mezze and friendly staff. After the turkish coffee, you are ready to hit the road again.

The young chef of Mürver just got his Michelin star. The setting is stunning (what a view) and the food is even more stunning. All that in a chill yet energetic atmosphere. You can see the food made in the open kitchen. Friendly staff and very good turkish wines.

Your home far from home... Beautiful restored ancient embassy building with a hospitality next level. If you stay at the hotel, you a also use the club part for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks... We used always this place as it is so inspiring for the design and feeling. The rooms in the hotel are beautiful and in the shower you can choose from 8 different types of shower gel. Amazing :-) They thought about every detail and you can feel it through the whole hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect as you can do a lot of the highlights by foot.
