Guépards à Otjiwarongo, Namibie

Le Cheetah Conservation Fund est le plus grand projet de conservation des guépards au monde, dédié à sauver le guépard et son écosystème. Il a été fondé en 1990 pour sauver l'espèce dont l'habitat a été perdu à 90 % au cours des 100 dernières années. C'est un endroit fascinant à visiter pour les amoureux des animaux. Cela vous donnera une appréciation et une compréhension plus profondes du conflit entre l'homme et la faune qui prévaut en Namibie et dans d'autres parties de l'Afrique du Sud depuis des décennies.
Cheetah Drive
The Cheetah Drive takes guests out onto the wider Namibia property to see cheetahs in the field. It’s an ideal opportunity to take some great photos. Duration: 1 hour
Cheetah Feeding
During this feeding moment you have a chance to see some of CCF’s resident cheetahs which cannot be released back into the wild, during their feeding time.
Cheetah Conservation Tour
The Cheetah Conservation Fund offers four daily activities. You can visit the museum and visitor center at their own pace. The walking tour will take you to the main facilities of the CCF: education centre, museum, clinic, creamery. Next to that you will also get an introduction to the cheetahs, dogs and livestock that live at the main centre. Duration: 1 hour
Cheetah Run
The Cheetah Run is part of a program that trains resident cheetahs to “hunt” and offers an opportunity for guests to see what these cats do best. Join them for their morning exercise and watch the cheetahs running in close up. Duration: 30 minutes
