Randonnée sur le chemin des dieux, déjeuner local délicieux et Positano
Journée active, randonnée sur une partie du célèbre "Chemin des dieux", suivie d'un déjeuner typique "nonna" et d'une visite à Positano.

Hike part of "Path of the Gods"
One of the unmissable things when visiting the Amalfi Coast, is hiking (part of) Path of the Gods. As it starts at one place and stops at another, it's not super convenient when you have a rental car like we did. So we found a spot to park the car, and where we could just hike an hour up, and an hour back down. This way, you can make it as long as you want to and you don't need to arrange buses etc. Check out the secret tip for the parking spot! As soon as you parked, enjoy the hike and take in the wonderful views. Best to come as early as possible, as many tourists have this path on their planning.
En route vers Nocelle le matin, nous avons trouvé l'endroit PARFAIT pour déjeuner après notre randonnée. Vérifions-le.

Lunch at La Tagliata
La Tagliata is the family restaurant where a nonna, her children ánd grandchildren cook delicious meals for the guests. They own a farm with their own animals and vegetables and they try to cook mostly with those ingredients. No menu card with lots of options, but one menu that has it all: antipasti, pasta, meat, dolci, cafe and... limoncello. What more do you want? Oh, yes, a view on the Amalfi Coast. That's also covered! What I liked most is that this place isn't just filled with tourists, but we could see many local families enjoying their meal here. Super authentic and local, so a must-go when in Amalfi.

Visit Positano
Positano probably is one of the most photographed places in the whole of Italy. The coloured houses near the rocky cliffs look beautiful indeed, however it definitely will not be the highlight of your trip at the Amalfi Coast. Once you enter the village, it's crowded and it feels less authentic than for instance Ravello, Sorrento or Praiano. So for sure visit it if you're there anyway, but after you got an idea and walked around a bit, drive further to other places. What is STUNNING though, it looking at Positano from a distance. Post-card feeling! PS: prepare for some steps, the height difference is huge here!
Retour à Sorrente !

Sunset drinks at La Minervetta
Back to my home away from home: Maison La Minervetta. When the sun sets, the colours on their terrace are simply amazing. Have a drink here, while looking at the Vesuvio Vulcano and the sky slowly turning dark. Holiday feeling: 11/10

Dinner in Sorrento town
From La MInervetta, you can easily walk to the town of Sorrento. Choose one of the many restaurants over here and enjoy some local food. You can't really go wrong here :-).
