Magie de la montagne de Tenerife près de la mer
Mon excursion d'une journée préférée à Tenerife : piscines naturelles, randonnée dans un parc national et un poisson frais du jour 🎣

Morning dip in Garachico
Start with a fresh morning dip at the naturally formed rock pools of Garachico. This is where the locals go! For me, Garachico is one of the cutest villages in Tenerife. Super authentic and it offers both a charming city center as well as stunning views over the sea. The water here is quite cold, yet it's the perfect way to wake up! Added a link to my blog with more information.
Conduisez maintenant vers le nord de Ténérife : Parc National d'Anaga ⛰

Enjoy the impressive drive to Anaga National Park!
Not only highlighting the destination of the day, the drive itself is impressive too. Right after you passed Santa Cruz de Tenerife, mountains start popping up, the roads get smaller by the minute and the views get more dramatic after every turn. Feels like South-East Asia! Beau-ti-ful!

Hike from Almaciga or Benijo
End your drive in one of these two mountain villages: Almaciga or Benijo. We decided to not do a full circular hike, but to just park our car in Almaciga and hike up a small dirt path (and down again afterwards). I really think you can't go wrong here, all parts are simply stunning. It reminded me a bit of Vietnam's nature, even. A hidden pearl in Europe, if you ask me!

Catching waves in Roque de la Bodegas
After sweating quite a bit during a hike, I think there's nothing more relieving than a fresh swim in the sea. Right next to Almaciga, you can find the viewpoint "Roque de la Bodegas", which is also a surfer's beach 🏄 We're not surfers, yet we catched the waves just by swimming 😉 The water here is super soft. We enjoyed ourselves like little kids here. Oh, and you swim with a view (check out the photos)!

Lunch: catch of the day!
Right next to this heavenly beach, there are about 2-3 local restaurants that serve fresh fish 🎣 I bet they are all a good choice. We went for the white/red one (called something like Valle Tuna). No menu options here, just their recommendation of the day. And that was delicious. Perfect ending of this active day!
