Auto-tour dans le parc national de Kruger
Ce matin, nous avons quitté notre hébergement dans le sud du parc national de Kruger. Au lieu de prendre l'autoroute à l'ouest du parc, nous avons opté pour une balade en voiture de 4 heures à travers la beauté naturelle de Kruger. Nous avons terminé notre journée au bord paisible d'un lac dans notre tente de glamping boutique AfriCamps Hoedspruit.
Self-drive through Kruger National Park
From our previous accommodation at the south gate of Kruger National Park we took the scenic route to the east gate of the park. Instead of riding the faster route outside the park, we went for a 4h self-drive crossing Kruger National Park. Don't expect the same amount of wildlife spotting like when you do a guided game drive, but still you'll see plenty of animals along the road. We spotted a Hyena pup; a massive male kudu; a Bateleur (Street Eagle) eating a tortoise; lots of zebras, warthogs (Pumba!) and giraffes; a large elephant bull and many more.

Glamping in Kruger National Park
After a day of safari magic we arrived at our basecamp for the next couple of nights: AfriCamps Hoedspruit. The glamping camp is located on the borders of a little lake. Each tent overlooks the lake while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and serenity. Each tent has a full equipped kitchen, bathroom, 2 rooms to sleep 5 persons, a living room and a deck. Next to the tent you'll find you super cozy lounge area where you can relax around the fire pit or plunge in the hot tub. The perfect area to 'braai' your meat basket (order before arriving) and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset.
