Vin & faune
Partez à la chasse aux animaux pendant la lumière la plus chaude de la journée, soyez actif et goûtez de bons vins locaux.

Sunrise hike with wild horses
Set your alarm clock early and go on a wildlife hunt right next to the Maas river. Here, you'll always be able to find wild horses and cows - incredible to see, especially for Belgium and The Netherlands. Park your car at "Paanhuisstraat 1" in Uikhoven and follow the orange signs. It's a walk of 14,5 kilometres, but you can choose to walk a shorter one too (about 7 kilometres). On your way, take in the sound of nature and watch the many birds wake up.

Breakfast in La Butte Aux Bois
Back to the hotel after your "safari" experience for a well-deserved breakfast. La Butte Aux Bois knows how to pamper guests with their huge selection of fruits, breads and breakfast dishes. Enjoy it in their breakfast room or on the terrace when the sun shines.

Kayak on the Maas
More nature-indulging this morning, but this time literally on the river Maas. Hop on a kayak in Smeermaas and follow the river for a few kilometres. Active, but so relaxing at the same time. Here as well, wild cows and horses will pop up - as well as lots of birds. Rent your kayak at "Kayak Maasland" for a seamless and professional experience.

Wine tasting in Limburg's most picturesque winery
Producing wine in a micro climate is a recepy for success. That's proved by the passionate family behind winery "Aldeneyck" in Maaseik. Their wines are loved by people around the world - they even ship to China and Japan. Book a tour around the beautiful winery and end your day with a tasting in their fairytale-like garden.
