Start your day with a trip to Miyajima Island
Take the ferry to Miyajima Island, your first stop of the day. It gets busy during the day, so arriving early is key! As soon as you step onto Miyajima Island, you’ll be greeted by friendly deer. Make sure to visit the Itsukushima Shrine with its iconic floating torii gate, Daisho-in Temple, and the five-storied pagoda.
Il faut environ une heure pour atteindre votre prochaine destination.
Visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
Your next stop is the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Here, you’ll dive deep into Hiroshima’s history, especially the events of August 6, 1945. The museum offers a sobering experience through personal stories, powerful images, and personal belongings.
Take a walk through the Peace Memorial Park
After visiting the museum, take a walk through the adjacent Peace Memorial Park to reflect. The park honors the victims of the nuclear attack, with several moving monuments like the Children’s Peace Monument, the Memorial Cenotaph, and the Peace Flame.

Stop at the A-Bomb Dome
The A-Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the only building that survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and has been preserved exactly as it was right after the explosion. Seeing this building gave us chills, but it also gave us hope in some way.
Votre lieu de dîner du jour est à seulement 20 minutes !
Dinner at 葉亜葉
The perfect way to end your day is with Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. For a truly authentic experience, we take you to 葉亜葉. There’s no English name, and it’s mostly filled with locals. The lady just asked us “okonomiyaki?”, and that’s about it. She makes this delicious Japanese pancake right in front of your eyes, and it’s oh so good!
