There was already a wine estate in Bree, where you can request tastings and tours starting from 12 people. But before the summer, Wijndomein De Steinberg opened a pop-up bar where you can go drink a glass of wine in the middle of the vineyard! (For those who are dragged along by you but are not wine drinkers, there are also appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks available). This makes it more accessible to try a local wine without having to book a tour, or be with 12 people. You can choose between a white wine, a rosé (tested and recommended), and a lighter and heavier red wine, each for €6!
Be sure to keep an eye on their Instagram page for any changes in opening hours, as they are only open when the weather is nice. They also post there when there is a happy hour, or if you get a free snack!
