Where to stay in Riga: Hotel Bergs Suites

During our short getaway to Riga, we stayed at Hotel Bergs Suites, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. We booked the double twin suite, an exceptionally spacious room with a comfortable seating area and a large bathroom, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. With the cold temperatures outside, we found ourselves spending a little more time than usual in the room, warming up and enjoying the extra comfort even more. The hotel itself is a four-star boutique gem, located in the heart of Berga Bazars, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which makes it perfectly situated for discovering Riga. One of the highlights was the option to enjoy breakfast right at the hotel. Very convenient, and even more extensive, with everything from fresh pastries to hearty local dishes. We especially loved having breakfast with a view of the snow-covered inner courtyard. What truly stood out was the staff, without a doubt some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered! They genuinely went out of their way to help us and shared thoughtful local tips and insights about Riga. Combined with the hotel’s great location, it made us feel incredibly welcome from start to finish.
