You might have to evade and dodge the hordes of tourists that will pass by whilst strolling through these galleries, but we guarantee you it’s worth it!
Your next destination is right next to the Royal Galleries.

Visit the Grand-Place
No visit to Brussels is complete without experiencing the breathtaking beauty of the Grand-Place, a historic gem in the heart of Brussels. The masterpiece of this square is without doubt the magnificent Town Hall that has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Admiring the Town Hall from the outside is magical enough, and this is what most tourists do. However, there’s also the option to visit the Town Hall with a guided tour, which is really interesting! The other buildings on the Grand-Place are beautiful as well, not a single modern building in sight, only historical architectural gems. Be sure to stroll around the side streets of the Grand-Place as well, where you will find all kinds of great stores, boutiques, and souvenir shops. You're guaranteed to keep yourself busy all afternoon!
A 5-minute walk away you will find one of Brussels' most iconic landmarks.

Admire Manneken-Pis
Just a short walk from the Grand-Place, you'll find the quirky Manneken-Pis statue. The bronze statue of a little boy peeing in a fountain is an iconic symbol of Brussels, and has been for some time. While it may be small in stature, it holds a big place in the hearts of the people of Brussels. Don't forget to check if the statue is dressed in one of its many costumes, since Manneken-Pis has its own wardrobe!
