The PR9 “Levada do Caldeirão Verde” is one of Madeira’s most stunning levada hikes, about 13 km round trip. The trail passes waterfalls, tunnels carved into the mountains, and the impressive Caldeirão Verde waterfall, which drops into a deep green pool surrounded by lush foliage. Along the way, there are dark tunnels and narrow paths along cliff edges, so make sure you’re comfortable with these before starting. - this trip was made in collaboration with Brussels Airlines, that offers direct flights from Brussels Airport to Funchal all year round.
