Breathtaking View
Discover today the beautiful viewpoint in the north of Lanzarote. It offers a breathtaking view over the surrounding sea and the island of La Graciosa. In the afternoon, head down to the charming coastal village of Arrieta located on the north coast.
Mirador Del Rio
This location is special because it is situated at an altitude of about 480m above sea level. It overlooks the island of La Graciosa, which is also the smallest inhabited island. You can reach it by boat and discover the fauna and flora. The island has no paved roads, which contributes to a calm and authentic atmosphere. The viewpoint also offers an information center and a café (paid) and was designed by the architect César Manrique. You can also walk on foot along a side path by the cliffs to discover the beautiful view.
Arrieta
When you descend from the north of the island, this fishing village is almost impossible to miss. Located along one of the main roads, you will pass by it. The village has about 1000 inhabitants and there is a calm and relaxed atmosphere where you won't find mass tourism yet. Casa Juanita (blue house) has not stolen its name. Right next to the pier, the house immediately stands out with its red bricks and blue upper floor. It is over 100 years old and is built on volcanic rock. On the beach Playa de la Garita, you can relax wonderfully. Due to the location of the bay, the ocean here is quite calm and there is a moderate wind.
