Sababurg, better known as Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, is a romantic castle surrounded by ancient trees and rose bushes. The atmosphere is magical, with overgrown walls and views of the hills of the Reinhardswald.
From May 29 to October 3, 2025, the castle gardens can be visited free of charge on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On Saturdays there is a theatre performance telling the story of Sleeping Beauty.
