To celebrate my godson’s 12th birthday and his end of primary school, we embarked on an unforgettable half-day adventure on the via ferrata of Les Grands Malades near Namur. It was the perfect mix of challenge and excitement, ideal for creating lasting memories together. The route was thrilling, with plenty of adrenaline-pumping moments that tested our limits (not for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights!). Our guide, Willy, was exceptional, balancing safety with fun while teaching us along the way. After two hours navigating the via ferrata, we capped off the experience with an hour of climbing and abseiling, which my godson absolutely loved. It was an adventure we’ll never forget, and we’re already looking forward to our next via ferrata at Marche les Dames.
