Every now and then, you come across a place that is so unique that you never forget it. That happened to me after a wine tasting with a corresponding menu in Kefalonia. I'm talking about "Haritatos Estate", one of the many wineries on the island. For hundreds of years, a friendly family has lived there, turning a passion into a profession. Where they once used their perfectly ripe grapes to enjoy themselves or with family/friends, it soon became clear that there was much more to it. Today, Haritatos wines are served from Greece to Switzerland and even Japan.
