Just got back from a solo trip to Thessaloniki with a day trip to Meteora — and honestly, it was everything I needed. Thessaloniki has this laid-back, friendly energy. I spent my days wandering around, drinking way too much freddo espresso, catching sunsets by the sea, and just enjoying that slow, southern vibe.For Meteora, I booked a group day trip through GetYourGuide and it was totally worth it. The views were insane — those giant rock formations with monasteries perched on top felt like something out of a dream. Even though it was a group trip, I still had time to just be with my thoughts, soak it all in, and enjoy the peacefulness of the place. Traveling solo always brings me back to myself, and this little escape did exactly that.
