Day 9: Osaka to Hiroshima
Today, you'll board the Shinkansen at Osaka’s Shin-Osaka Station for a 1.5-hour journey to Hiroshima. Enjoy your first ride on the bullet train! Upon arrival in Hiroshima, you’ll have time to explore the city and check in at your hotel.

Visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
Your first stop in Hiroshima is the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Here, you’ll dive deep into Hiroshima’s history, especially the events of August 6, 1945. The museum offers a sobering experience through personal stories, powerful images, and personal belongings.
Take a walk through the Peace Memorial Park
After visiting the museum, take a walk through the adjacent Peace Memorial Park to reflect. The park honors the victims of the nuclear attack, with several moving monuments like the Children’s Peace Monument, the Memorial Cenotaph, and the Peace Flame.
