Cross the Irabu Ohashi Bridge

Kick off the day with a scenic drive over the Irabu Ohashi Bridge, Japan’s longest toll-free bridge. The views here are incredible, with shades of blue stretching as far as the eye can see. You might want to make a few stops to snap some pictures or just take in the stunning scenery! And if you’re wondering if we’re just letting you drive over a bridge just for the sake of it: absolutely not. You have to cross the bridge to get to the next location ;-)

Drive 15 minutes to the next stop.

Snorkeling at Nakanoshima

Next, head to Nakanoshima for a morning snorkel in some of the clearest waters you’ll ever see. It’s an underwater paradise filled with colorful fish and vibrant coral reefs. Underwater you can expect to see sea turtles, clownfish, and beautiful coral. Make sure to arrive early! Not only because the waters are more calm and visibility is at its best, but also because there’s not a lot of parking around. It does get busier later during the day, as some snorkeling tours frequent this place so best to arrive early.

Only 3 minutes to your next stop!

Beautiful scenery at Toriike Pond

After your snorkel adventure, drive over to Toriike Pond. Here you can see twin sinkholes connected by an underwater cave. The area is very peaceful and feels almost magical, just greenery and two beautiful ponds around you. The place is free to visit and there’s a small trail that leads you to the edge where you can see the sea. The two ponds are great for diving as well!

A 25-minute drive will take you to the last stop of the day.
