Discovering the gems of Lake Mburo National Park. Expect many zebras, a safari bikeride and a boat tour surrounded by hippos.
Morning bike ride
From the Rwakobo Lodge, you can set off on a bike ride through the savanna. So special to be very close to zebras, impalas and many bird species!
Boat tour on the lake
Next, drive to the main lake for a boat ride. It will offer you close encounters with hundreds of hippo’s, eagles, and even crocodiles. Feels just like a movie.
Drive to Lake Bunyonyi
Time for some time in the car. Head to the next stop: Lake Bunyonyi. It will take a few hours, but you’ll be able to soak in some true ‘couleur locale’ from your window ☺️. Once arrived, I can highly recommend Birdnest Hotel to stay in. No hotel with a better view than here 🫶🏼 Also, it’s perfect for dinner tonight.
