Right before the sun sets, head to Schloss Waldeck on Germany's fairytale route for a view to die for. The historical castle sits high above Lake Edersee so you'll look over water and the surrounding hills. The panoramic terrace in the evening light will give you goosebumps. As the sky turns dark you don't have to leave just yet, as the castle has a restaurant and hotel too. Unique to say the least!
