Together with a friend who lives in the city of Brisbane, I went to Southside in South Brisbane, and immediately understood why it’s such a local favourite. The restaurant spreads over three levels in this “ruined industrial temple” kind of space. My once-interior-architect heart completely melted for this space. The food is East-Asian with a proper love for Chinese tradition, and the wines are carefully chosen from both classic regions and some amazing Australian producers. Would definitely go again!
