A stroll through Zlatni Rt forest park
Zlatni Rt forest park is a protected natural area cherished for its beauty and tranquillity. Its landscaping began in the late 19th century under the vision of Johann Georg Hutterott who aspired to establish a climate spa. Unfortunately, only part of the horticultural plan was realised during his lifetime.
Walk through Forest Park
The park blends natural woodland with cultivated greenery featuring tree-lined paths, walking trails, meadows and serene promenades. As you explore, you’ll come across the picturesque Golden Cape pebble beach and the sandy shores of Punta Cabana. Golden Cape Beach is full of stone towers carefully stacked by visitors, adding to its unique charm. At the very tip of the cape, you’ll find a wind rose that is used for graphically displaying wind directions and strength. Just beside it there is Grill Lovor restaurant. If you visit during winter months, you’ll be mesmerised by the dramatic sight of waves crashing against the rocky cliffs.
