We still associate Kosovo with one of the most recent European wars. It's time to leave this idea behind, as it is also simply a country with fascinating cities and a top European score in friendliness. We visited Kosovo for 4 days: a city trip to Pristina and the surrounding area, combined with a visit to the second city, Prizren.
Pristina is fantastic. A young city in full development and with historical gems. But you need to have quite a few Balkan cities on your resume to experience it that way. It is a city that not everyone will warm to. It is not beautiful everywhere, but as I said: the city is on the rise. With growth potential in all neighborhoods and existing Balkan heritage in both the old and new center.
