Peruvian rooftop dining at Maymanta

Dining with a sunset view whilst discovering a new cuisine? That's Maymanta in Ibiza! This poolside rooftop gem was my favorite restaurant during our Ibiza trip. The Peruvian cuisine of chef Omar Malpartida surprised us with every bite, whilst looking at boats entering the Santa Eularia marina after a day out sailing. A dream-like setting! Did you know that "Maymanta" means "Origin" in Quecha, a language in the Andes region? Chef Omar chose this name as his first culinary is that of his grandmother Maria cooking during family dinners. These moments where his first memories of his precious origins. No wonder you taste such precise and passion in each dish. A must when visiting the island!
