Gin tasting at Inverroche

While South Africa is predominantly known for its wines, they actually also create some very special gins. We visited the Inverroche distillery and attended the 'gin academy' for one of their tutored tasting sessions. The lovely staff shared their story and we got acquainted with their crafting process, unique ingredients and distinctive flavors. From floral to zesty and aromatic, their three signature gins are all infused with local fynbos botanicals from the Cape region. And as if gin wasn't enough, we got the option to pair our tasting with either gelato or chocolate, yum!
