More Manhattan & SUMMIT One Vanderbilt
Explore more of Manhattan both by foot and by ferry, enjoy a spectacular sunset at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt observatory and try the iconic Bubba Gump shrimp.

Enjoy the NYC Ferry East River route
If you can't get enough of the NY skyline like us, then this 4 dollar ferry tour of about 50 minutes is perfect for you. It takes you from Hunter's Point to Pier 11 while brining you up close and personal with all the iconic bridges and Manhattan skyscrapers.

Walk your way through Manhattan
One of the best ways to see Manhattan, and New York in general, is simply by walking. We started at Grand Central Station, past the Chrysler Building, made our way to Saint Patrick's Cathedral at 5th Avenue, the Rockefeller Center (with an obligatory stop at the Ralph's coffee food truck!), Radio City Music Hall and ended at the Plaza Hotel as we visited during the holidays to see the iconic decorations.

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt: the perfect NYC sunset
With unparalleled views of the New York skyline and unlimited once in a lifetime photo opportunities, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt quickly rose to fame as the must-see observation deck in the Big Apple. But unlike many other hyped up places, this one's definitely more than worth it. We bought our tickets about a week in advance to make sure we got a sunset slot (1,5 hours before sunset is ideal), which does cost 10 dollars more than general tickets but makes your experience truly unforgettable. Other than that, there are only 2 things you really need to (mentally) prepare for: it's going to be busy, and it's going to be hot. After a fast but smooth elevator ride, you'll first visit the room with endless glass and mirrors: Transcendence 1. While the design of this room is impressive on its own, the views are even more incredible. Afterwards, Affinity with the famous silver balloons awaits you. Finally, try to make you way up to Transcendence II right in time for sunset. It'll be less crowded here, but you'll enjoy the best view of the light and color spectacle, both inside and outside SUMMIT.

Run for Bubba Gump
Anyone who's seen Forest Gump will immediately recognize this iconic American restaurant with its signature shrimp dishes. It's a cosy, fun dinner experience and allows you to dine with some of the best Times Square views at a relatively affordable price.
