9/11 Memorial, from the High Line to Hudson Yards & Brooklyn views
A final full day of highlights, from visiting the 9/11 Memorial to admiring the new Little Island, walking the iconic High Line as well as the Brooklyn Bridge. Dinner today was one of our favorites: Italian hotspot Locanda Verde in Tribeca.

Visit the 9/11 Memorial & One World Observatory
Weirdly enough, the 9/11 Memorial is one of the most special places in New York City. It's probably the only place that is completely quiet. Even today, seeing all the names surrounding the two waterfalls remains extremely moving. A couple of years ago, the new WTC tower was finished. Here you can visit another observatory that also tells you more about the history of Manhattan. As this is located at the other side of this area, you'll enjoy completely different views than from SUMMIT or The Edge. Right next to the memorial you also can't miss the Oculus mall which is an architectural masterpiece, as well as some amazing street art.

Walk through Wall Street
At a couple minutes walking distance, you'll find yourself in the heart of Wall Street. Here, you can admire the famous New York Stock Exchange and the charging bull. But it's worth even for the unique vibe that can be felt in these streets.

Explore Little Island & The High Line
If you take the subway to 14th Street, you can visit another unique piece of architecture and nature: Little Island. This green oasis is relatively new but has quickly become of New York's most popular places. If you're a little hungry by now, make sure to hop into Chelsea market across the street for a (or more) quick bite. From taco's to bagels and fine dining, there's no food you won't find here. After you've indulged at Chelsea Market, you can make your way up to the High Line: an old elevated rail line that was transformed into a public park and walking trail. It stretches all the way from Chelsea to Hudson Yards and offers amazing city views. Once at Hudson Yards, you can't miss another new addition to New York's architectural treasures: the Vessel.

Visit Dumbo & walk the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset
Finally, it's time to take the subway all the way to Brooklyn. Your first stop here is Washington street in the Dumbo area, from where you'll get to see one of the most iconic views of the city towards the Washington bridge. Continue walking towards the bridge to find Pebble Beach, the perfect spot to admire the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline. During sunset, you can walk the iconic Brooklyn Bridge all the way back to Manhattan. Walking in this direction offers the best views, in my opinion. Seeing the colors of the city change and the lights slowly starting to glisten while the sun sets was a truly magical experience.

Italian hotspot: Locanda Verde
Without knowing it, we were lucky enough to get a reservation at Locanda Verde. Located in the Tribeca area (celebrity land in New York), this Italian hotspot co-owned by Robert De Niro surely lives up to its hype. Great cocktails, even better Italian food and a true authentic New York dinner experience. Simply the perfect place for your final dinner.
