Hike in Les Calanques
Explore the stunning nature of this coastal region in France by hiking in the Calanques. We took the 'Sentier Panoramique' route. This trail takes you along the most beautiful panoramic views of the rugged cliffs, crystal-clear Mediterranean waters and the breathtaking landscape. To make the most out of this experience, it's best to start your hike at 9 o'clock in the morning, for cooler temperatures and a lot less people around. You can park your car at the "Presqu'île" parking area. From there, you can start your hike and visit three different calanques.
Lunch with a view
Get yourself some lunch from L’Amour du Pain, a French bakery and pastry shop in Cassis. It’s located on your way to the scenic Route des Crêtes. With a baguette in hand and a pastry to satisfy your sweet tooth, start the breathtaking 35km drive. As you wind along the Parc National des Calanques, you'll be treated to panoramic views rising above the coastal towns of Marseille, Cassis, and La Ciotat.
Apéro drinks at 20 000 Lieues
On the coastal road to Les Goudes, you will find a fun apéro bar. ’20 000 lieues sous la bière’ is for everyone: old or young, families, couples or singles, everyone talks to each other over drinks. The pub has a privileged seaside location and has become part of the landscape. It's a vibe!
Sunset dinner on the rocks of Tuba Club
