Day 4 - Travel day to Holbox
Travelday! Today we are going from Isla Mujeres to Holbox. Take a look inside to see how you travel best.
Arrival to Holbox, the ultimate paradise island
To go to Holbox you take a bus (ADO) or your car to Chiquilá. This is the place where you take a ferry to Holbox port. If you go with your own car you van easily find a parkspot for round 3 euro's a night. From there you have the option to take the public ferry or a private boat. That second option is interesting in case you travel with 4+ people. The ferry cost around 15 euro and takes 40 min first one goes at 6:30 am, last one at 9:30 pm. You can book your tickets upfront or in the port itself. After you arrive with the ferry there are taxi's in the form of a 4x4 golf cart. They bring you straight to your hotel for around 5 euro. If you are on time you can go enjoy your first sunset. Head to the beach or find a cozy bar and enjoy the magic of this island. More info in the added link.
