Mbali Collection - Eco-cabin stay in Kogelberg Nature Reserve

If you want to get away from it all, immerse yourself into nature and deconnect - Kogelberg Nature Reserve is calling your name. By far my favorite stay in all of South Africa, CapeNature's ecopods are nestled in the pristine Palmiet River Valley, overlooking the diverse mountain fynbos. With only a handful of overnight cabins and limited parking for day visitors, it offers a unique sense of solitude in spectacular surroundings. Beautiful in all types of weather, the protected biosphere reserve is ideal for bird watching, hiking and swimming. The spacious eco-cabins are well-equipped, with a full kitchen, dining area, fire place, bathroom and, of course, an outdoor braai area. Floor to ceiling windows offer a unique peak into the reserve, right from the comfort of your bed. We stayed at the Golden Star eco pod.
