Is a boat trip to spot dolphins worth it? We booked a boat trip via GetYourGuide. This was on a rather large boat and the trip took 2.5 hours: we only stopped at the dolphins for 10 minutes and there was hardly anything to see.... In addition, we were promised that we could swim in the water, but this was also only allowed for 10 minutes. So to answer the question, for us this was not really worth it. I can imagine that you have to be lucky with the dolphins and that every boat trip is different, but I would not recommend the very touristy boat trips.
Cabo Girao Skywalk
This glass platform is a fun stop for stunning views of land and sea. Entrance costs 2 euros.
Cascata Dos Anjos
A waterfall on the road: this is a beautiful stop when the sun goes down! You will see many people taking a picture under the waterfall, and although it is not allowed, even cars drive through it!
