On our third day we visited the black sand beach and drove up to the Highlands behind the waterfalls of Iceland.

Iceland’s Black Sand Beach, Reynisfjara, is famous for its black volcanic sand and impressive rock formations. It is a must-see spot for anyone visiting Iceland, but be careful!
Drive into the highlands!
We rented a 4x4, which allowed us to explore the Icelandic highlands that would have been impossible to reach otherwise. Driving through this stunning, untouched landscape felt like being in a movie, with beauty all around and hardly any tourists in sight.
