More than a quarter of a century ago, the coal mine of Eisden was still operating at full capacity here. Today, the landscape has been transformed into a surprising combination of mountains and lakes, with spectacular panoramas.
At the visitor center, you can pick up your hiking map and choose between one of the loops from 1.4 to 10.9 kilometers. Expect some steep climbs, but the view at the top makes it all worthwhile.
