Hike and sleep near the Morteratsch Glacier

This day is all about one of the biggest glaciers in Switzerland, the Morteratsch glacier. A hike shows how fast the glacier has retreated in the past years. You can walk all the way to the front of the glacier, it's fascinating to see this mass of ice from closeby. For a full experience, you can stay in the Diavolezza hut at 3000m with a view over the Morteratsch glacier. We decided to do an early morning climb from the hut to the Munt Pers at 3200m.
