Exploring the city center
Discovering Helsinki's city center: from the stunning Helsinki Cathedral to the amazing architecture of Uspenski Cathedral, every corner reveals a blend of history and beauty.

Helsinki Cathedral
Helsinki's iconic white cathedral is one of the most photographed buildings in the Finnish capital. Its architecture is very impressive and makes it a must-see landmark. We visited Helsinki during spring. It was still very cold but we were lucky with the blue skies and sun. It is highly recommended to visit Helsinki during spring as the beautiful nature is in bloom!

Uspenski Cathedral
The Uspenski Cathedral is the largest Orthodox church in Western Europe and its architecture stands in large contrast to Helsinki's Cathedral. Both churches are free to visit.
