Day 1: exploring Marseille’s vibrant streets & savory delights
Our first day in Marseille was a whirlwind of discovery. We roamed the charming streets of "Le Panier", an open air ‘museum’ with the most captivating street art. We had lunch at the cutest little place, Ciao Marcello. Delicious pizza’s, cold drinks and a sunny terrace, what more do you need? After some shopping, we headed to Splendido, a true hotspot in Marseille. Dining at the famous Italian restaurant is an absolute experience, from the mouth-watering food (did someone say truffle pasta?!) to the marvelous decorations. With its old school photobooth, even the bathroom adds to the overall experience. We ended the first day by exploring the vibrant nightlife surrounding Les Grandes Halles du Vieux-Port.
