27/04/2025, Heritage Day in Flanders. I took the opportunity to visit Gaasbeek Castle for free. It had been on my list for a while. The castle, I can check that off, but the park/forests (more than 40 hectares) around the castle, I will return for a nice walk. Normally, access is paid for the castle and the museum garden (see website https://www.kasteelvangaasbeek.be/nl/tarieven). The park with the forests, chapel, and arch is free.
