We continued our journey to Šibenik and are ready to fall completely in love with this beautiful city!
The Residence
The children and I drove to our new apartment, where unfortunately there was only 1 night available. Jonathan cycled there. Beautiful apartment, beautiful location! We paid 105 euros for a night with the four of us. Of course, after driving through, we lingered for a well-deserved dip and mom could finally read her book!
City by night
Šibenik is incredibly beautiful. Wonderful atmosphere to stroll around in the evening among the locals and tourists and let the city soak in.

Boat trip with Visit Šibenik
Discovering, walking, swimming, sailing, slowing down, and enjoying, that's what awaits you with the Island Tour from Visit Šibenik. The children paid 60 euros per person for the tour, we paid 85 euros per person. Lunch was included. By the way, we chose the Riviera Tour, but there are other options.
Kalpic suites & villa
After the boat trip, we chose again for a stay of 1 night which we secretly wished would be more. A beautiful stay with a lot of authenticity! We stayed in the Stone Cottage.
Knin Fortress
Croatia is a country with a very rich history. As we drive through Knin, we notice the traces of the struggle for independence in the 1990s. The flag has been flying on the fortress since August 5, 1995, as a symbol of 'victory'. The fortress itself was built in the 9th century and has been expanded and strengthened several times.
Eye of Croatia
From this eye of the earth, the water rises and forms the source of the great river Cetina, which is about 100 km long. The hole in the ground is actually a cave of such depth that the final depth has not yet been established. Divers have apparently taken measurements and reached a depth of 155 meters, but that was apparently not yet the end!
