Chelsea, Shoreditch & the lunch of my life
Discover the parts of London that locals love. At lunch, we ate at my new favorite place in the city!
Breakfast at One Hundred Shoreditch
Fueling up for the day at the rooftop bar of One Hundred. When the weather's good, you can even grab a table outside. The views are lovely!

Morning walk around Chelsea
Get the underground to Chelsea and enjoy a beautiful, chique part of London. On Saturdays it's the best, as there is a food market on Sloane Square. It's surrounded by quite a few terraces, very cozy. We just walked around here and found these nice places along our route (save for later): - Pavillion Road - Duke of York - Sloane Square - Saatchi Gallery Oh, and it's a perfect spot for shopping lovers too. Many cute boutiques around in Chelsea!
Take the underground back to Shoreditch
Best. Lunch. Ever.
If you are a foodie, a reservation at Lyle's in Shoreditch is a MUST! This is a laid-back place with lots of light and a cozy atmosphere that serves delicious dishes. Best I ate in quite a while. They even received a Michelin-star. But don't let that scare you, in London that doesn't mean you have to take a full menu (at least not at lunch). Also, you can't compare the prices to prices of Michelin-dishes in Belgium. It's much more accessible. Beware though, as the food was so good, we ordered quite a bit. So that had its influence on the bill 😉 But worth every single euro!
Walk the famous Brick Lane in Shoreditch
Unique vintage stores, street art and food stalls: welcome to Brick Lane! This lively & famous road is quite the opposite of Chelsea this morning. Very hipster and filled with mix of locals & tourists. For me it was the perfect place to let the delicious lunch sink in and take a look at some of the original stores.

Dinner at Arros QD, Soho London
For dinner, I can highly recommend the Spanish restaurant "Arros QD" in Soho. The dishes are a nice change compared to all the sharing dishes in the other restaurants. So enjoy a delicious (I know, I've been using the word a lot here in this trip 😅) paella or a piece of the freshly grilled meat.
