Marrakech food spots I tried and would recommend saving for your trip!
From coffee breaks to rooftops and street food: these are the places featured in this post.
Simple Specialty Coffee
A nice spot if you’re looking for a good iced coffee. Perfect for a little break during the day.
Kech Badi
Great for a small Moroccan lunch like pita falafel. Ideal if you want something quick and tasty.
Koulchi Zine
Beautiful rooftop restaurant, especially around sunset. The kafta & egg tajine here is definitely worth trying.
Le Grand Bazar
A very beautiful restaurant with a rooftop. Perfect if you’re in the mood for something different than Moroccan cuisine, their four-cheese pizza is really good.
L’Adresse
Beautiful rooftop restaurant where you can also just go for drinks, with a view over Djemaa el Fna. Best to reserve in advance if you want a table overlooking the square. We were lucky that two people had just left.
Boughaz Coffee
A good stop for an iced mocha coffee. Nice for a coffee break while exploring the city.
Chez Abdelfattah
A well-known street food spot located in the Medina near Jemaa el Fna, in one of the lively food streets. Try the “mixte”, a popular sandwich choice and a local favorite for a quick bite.
Waffles by Sophie
Something completely different in Marrakech, delicious stroopwafels for when you’re missing a bit of Dutch food.
Terrasse La Cigogne
Cozy and colorful rooftop bar with good mocktails and a beautiful view over Marrakech.
