Loulé, a cozy village north of Faro, comes alive every Saturday thanks to its weekly farmers' market. Around the historic Moorish market hall, numerous stalls offer fresh local products — from fragrant herbs to perfectly ripe avocados (which we of course tasted: delicious!). The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed. Street musicians provide cheerful sounds while locals and visitors alike enjoy all the delicacies. We had a tasty pizza and pasta right across from the market hall 'GUSTO’ZZA', definitely recommended. And to top it off: an artisanal ice cream at 'Momentos Gelataria & Cafetaria' - the perfect end to a sunny morning in Loulé.
