This small but idyllic beach is a nice change from the wide beach of Platja d'Aro and is an ideal place with (small) children to enjoy a day of swimming and relaxing.

Enjoy a relaxed beach day at Cala de Cap Roig
This small but idyllic beach is a nice change from the wide beach of Platja d'Aro. There is a little islet that divides. There are some rocks, which make it a great place to search for crabs. There is also a little Chiringuito to get a drink, snack of ice cream from. The beach can be reached on foot, following a beautiful coastal path. Not suitable for strollers, because it's quite a lot of stairs down to the beach. We went here by the end of the day and the beach was partly in the shadow, which was nice for the kids because it was a hot day!
