Normandy highlights: Etretat & Honfleur
We spent the day exploring two of Normandy’s most iconic highlights, and it was unforgettable. The dramatic cliffs of Étretat left us in awe (and out of breath from both the climb and the stunning views). It’s one of those places that takes your breath away in every sense. Afterwards, we headed to the picturesque town of Honfleur. With its charming streets and lively harbor, it was the perfect spot to unwind. We enjoyed shopping for local treasures and indulging in some delicious regional treats. Two very different stops, both absolutely worth the visit!
A visit to the cliffs of Étretat
Our walk in Étretat was nothing short of breathtaking. We climbed the famous cliffs, taking in the dramatic scenery every step of the way. The effort was well worth it—the views from the top were simply unforgettable. Truly a highlight of our trip!
Wandering through Honfleur
Honfleur is such a charming and cozy town, perfect for wandering. We spent hours strolling through its little shopping streets, discovering all sorts of hidden gems. The kids were thrilled to pick out a special stone from a small shop, while we treated ourselves to some local specialties to take home. We ended our visit on a heated terrace, enjoying fresh oysters and soaking up the lively atmosphere of this picturesque harbor town.
