Biking through the National Park over the floating bridge

On the second day, you can start with a bike ride over the floating cycling bridge. At Terhills Hotel, you can rent electric bikes to explore the area at your own pace. The Hoge Kempen National Park offers plenty of beautiful cycling routes through nature. We chose loop 2, a 47,6 km ride that took us across the floating bridge and through several different landscapes of the Hoge Kempen. Most of the route goes through forested areas, so you hardly come across any cars, just peace and quiet in nature.

High-tea at Terhills Hotel

After some activity, it’s time to relax. In the afternoon, after the bike ride, you can enjoy a high tea at Terhills Hotel. This can be booked separately and is available on Saturdays and Sundays between 14:00-16:00. Unlimited tea and coffee are included. You’ll be served a delicious selection of savoury bites like bagels, wraps, scones and sandwiches. And to finish, there’s a variety of sweet treats to enjoy. They serve the scones warm, straight out of the oven and they were by far my favourite.
